Atlanta Falcons Partner with Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta to Host a Salsa Night in Conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month
On Tuesday, September 20 the Atlanta Falcons partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta to host a Salsa Event in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month. During the event, over 50 youth representing five local area Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta prepared special salsa recipes using ingredients from local community gardens. Celebrity judges, including several Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, were on hand to taste the salsas and select a winner. The Warren/Holyfield Boys & Girls Club was crowned the winner for their Garlic Black Bean Salsa recipe.
Following the salsa cook-off, four professional dance instructors were on hand to provide Latin dance lessons. The group had the opportunity to learn the Salsa, Cha Cha and Meringue. Following the lessons, the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders signed autographs and posed for photographs.
